Pendant of Peculiarities

This magical hand made pocket watch pendant was inspired by a book I read ages ago... Probably when I was in third grade.

The plot was about a little boy whose uncle happened to be a magician. This uncle gave him a magical blue book with a moon and stars on it, which teleported him into medieval times to make for an epic adventure story.

I can't for the life of me remember the name of the book.. (I DO know for sure that it was NOT any of the magic tree house books) but years later its memory has inspired me to make this lovely piece.

My other inspiration for it was the "Neverland" series they showed on the Syfi channel awhile back. I loved the whole idea of the teleportation blob device thing... So I added two stars on the right side, which just seemed to work


I'm not sure exactly what I want its purpose to be yet. I've made so many "teleportation" and "time machine" type pieces that I really hope to have a more original theme for this... However, being either of the above would fit more with my inspiration for the piece.

This picture doesn't even fully capture just how dazzling and spellbinding this piece is in real life.
